王學重,男,1963年生。中國石油大學化學化工學院獲學士(1984)、碩士(1987)和博士學位(1990)。1990-1992任職北京化工大學自動化系講師和副教授,1993年英國從事博士后研究,1995年受聘英國利茲大學化學工程學院講師,之后晉升高級講師(2001)和準教授(2005)并得到曾七次獲得英國女王商業杰出成就獎的馬爾文儀器公司的贊助(Malvern Reader in Intelligent Measurement and Control)。2006年獲聘英國利茲大學化學工程學院過程控制和信息學講席教授(Personal Chair in Process Control and Informatics)。2012年入選國家特聘計劃任職華南理工大學化學化工學院。2019年就職北京石油化工學院化學工程學院。

     科研工作集中在制藥(化學藥、生物藥和中藥)、納米材料、和精細化工的產品、工藝和設備開發,過程放大,模擬,工業生產的監測和智能優化控制。作為項目主持人獲得英國工程和物理研究基金會、歐盟和工業界的科研項目資助超900萬英鎊。2012年回國后獲得縱向和橫向科研項目資助2000余萬元。

     基礎和應用研究的部分成果在工業界得到了應用和技術轉化。在英國期間和世界最大的制藥公司輝瑞,葛蘭素史克,阿斯利康,先正達等20多家企業建立了長期的密切合作關系。他幫助馬爾文儀器開發的分析儀器Morphologi G被利茲大學所在的學院于2012年評選為過去六年中最具工業影響的科研成果的第一名,參與英國每六年一次的科研水平全國評比。2012年回國后和中國的制藥和化工企業也建立了密切的合作(例如廣藥集團白云山制藥、萬華化學、齊魯制藥、中化國際圣奧化學、無限極(中國)、潤都制藥、華海藥業、國邦藥業、中科生物制藥、東陽光藥業、中科院青海鹽湖所、中國工程物理研究院、天津海水淡化所、百會藥業等)。

     發表科研論文200余篇篇,英文專著1部 。論文被引用4300余次。獲得歐洲化學工程協會的會志Chem. Eng. Res. Des. 2006-2009年論文被最多引用獎。指導畢業博士生25(英國21中國4),博士后16名,碩士生多人,其中四名博士研究生獲最佳博士研究生論文獎。

  

目前的研究集中在以下幾個方向

1. 制藥和結晶過程系統工程,基于晶型結構的群體粒數衡算模型模擬結晶器中晶體的生長,實現結晶過程中晶體多維形狀分布的模擬以及組成的模擬;開在線三維圖像獲取和圖像處理技術用于晶體生長過程中三維晶形結構的在線測量;基于上述突破,實現了結晶過程晶體群體形狀分布的閉環自動控制。晶型篩選,智能自動化晶型篩選機器人開發。連續結晶、造粒、研磨設備的研發。

2. 制藥工藝過程全流程的模擬、過程分析技術和控制技術的開發,包括合成、結晶、過濾、造粒、研磨、干燥和壓片等;生物制藥過程例如發酵和細胞培養等工藝的過程分析技術、控制和模擬技術的研究。

3. 在過程工業數據挖掘方面,提出了數據挖掘用于過程檢測和控制,發表英文專著數據挖掘和知識發現在過程檢測和控制中的應用Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery for Process Monitoring and Control – Springer LondonNew York1999)。致力于大數據挖掘和應用于制藥工藝的智能化和自動化制造。

4. 在納米生產過程的在線測量、模擬及控制、放大和高通量新產品開發這一重要領域的相關研究上,研究開發動態光散射、超聲、近紅外和過程層析成像儀器,和群體粒數衡算模型和計算流體力學模擬等。

5. 此外,研究工作還包括利用構效關系模型(SAR – structure activity relationship)預測納米材料毒性。
